Discussion on Key Technologies for The Determination of Selenium in Infant Formula Milk Powder Based on AFS and ICP-MS
[Objective]To investigate the determination of selenium content in infant formula milk powder by atomic fluorescence spectrometry(AFS)and inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry(ICP-MS),and the influence of key technical points such as analysis method principle, detection mode and quantitative method on the accuracy of detection results and the difference of results and the reasons.[Method]The samples were pre-treated with microwave digestion, and the selenium in infant formula powder was determined by high sensitivity mode, high matrix mode and standard addition method of atomic fluorescence spectrometry and inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry, respectively.[Result]The quantitative results of the standard curve method of atomic fluorescence spectrometry and the standard addition method of ICP-MS were close to the median value of the quality control sample. When the standard curve method of ICP-MS was used, the results of the high sensitivity mode and the high matrix mode were higher than the median value of the quality control sample.[Conclusion]More reliable results can be obtained when atomic fluorescence spectrometer external standard method and inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer standard addition method are used.
