Platelets are essential mediators of hemostasis,inflammation,wound healing and tumor metastasis.All these processes occurred in platelets can be studied by platelet proteomics.So far,over 4 000 platelet proteins have been identified by various subproteomes,such as platelet membrane and cytoskeletal proteomic,platelet-derived microparticles proteomic,resting platelets and activated platelets,and disordered platelets proteomic.In short,the changes of protein profiling in platelets can direct the study for platelet production in vitro,platelet storage lesion,early diagnosis of disease and screening of therapeutic targets.
