Mechanism of Heat Shock Cognate 70 in Viral Infections
As an important homologous chaperon of heat shock proteins(HSPs),Hsc70(heat shock cognate 70)often exhibits the constitutive expression and facilitates to keep the cellular environmental homeostasis through ATP metabolism,protein folding and transporting,antigen presentation,endocytosis and mitochondrial autophagy and so on.Recent studies further suggest that Hsc70 plays multiple roles in many pathogenic,especially viral infectious diseases.Some viruses manipulate Hsc70 for their self-replication.In this review,we concluded the research developments of Hsc70 on the virus attachment/entry,viral intracellular trafficking and disassembly,viral genome replication,viral morphogenesis and virus-induced host-protective immune responses,which would provide more theoretical data on the research of Hsc70 in the process of viral infections.
