Research Progress of Regulating Immune Cytokine Expression in Responses to Four Caliciviruses
The Caliciviridae family is a non-enveloped,single-stranded positive-stranded RNA virus, which contains many virus members that pose a serious threat to human and animal health.Difficulty in virus growth retarded research of caliciviruses.Although calicivirus studies have achieved great progress, there are stills many questions that remain to be resolved. In this review,we summarized the current evidence on the interactions of several cytokines within caliciviruses, including interferons, interleukins, and TNF-α,and their regulatory mechanisms following infection with HuNoV,MNV,FCV and RHDV,to understand the relationship between cytokines and virus infection. This article provided new ideas for understanding the relationship between immune cytokines and calicivirus infection and exploring the mechanism of interaction between the virus and host immune system.
