Cells are subjected to mechanical forces throughout their life cycle. This process is mediated by molecules such as LINC,Lamin A/C,TRPV4,and integrins.Recent studies have shown that mechano-transduction plays a crucial role in the development of the immune system and immune responses. After infection with pathogens, mechanotransduction regulates the activation of cellular immune responses, cytokine production, metabolism, proliferation, and transport. This review provides an in-depth analysis of the effects of mechanotransduction on the immune response, the inflammatory response, and the regula-tion of immune cell function.
