Thermal stability of bioceramic root canal sealers
The root canal sealer is essential to filling the gap between the root canal wall and the gutta-percha and im-proving the sealing performance.Therefore,the selection and application of root canal sealers is particularly important.In recent years,bioceramic root canal sealers have gradually be-come the mainstream choice in clinical practice because of their excellent physical and chemical properties.However,how to better combine the advantages of such sealers with the warm vertical compaction technique to improve the treatment effect has become a hot issue.Therefore,this paper compared and evaluated the physical and chemical properties of differ-ent bioceramic root canal sealers under heating conditions,in-cluding setting time,flow,film thickness and other characteris-tics,aiming to provide scientific basis for clinical practice and guide doctors to select and apply bioceramic root canal sealers more reasonably when adopting warm vertical compaction technique,so as to improve the success rate of root canal treat-ment.
