Exploration and practice of whole cycle and whole process management mode for periodontal disease patients
Periodontal disease is a common oral disease,but awareness of its harmfulness and acceptance of its treatment in our country are still low.In addition,the treatment for periodontal disease as well as the maintenance is a long-term work that needs to be carried out throughout the whole process.Therefore,it is essential to explore a more efficient man-agement mode to improve the treatment effect in patients with periodontitis.The Department of Periodontology of Hospi-tal of Stomatology,Xi'an Jiaotong University,has made characteristic innovations in patient management for each link of the standard diagnosis and treatment cycle of periodontal disease,such as the promotion of comfortable periodontal treat-ment,the establishment of"5+3"clinical subcenter,and the implementation of the preferential contract for periodontal health maintenance throughout the whole cycle,which has effectively improved patient satisfaction,clinical diagnosis and treatment efficiency,and the proportion of long-term follow-up visits.At the same time,the Hospital of Stomatology,Xi'an Jiaotong University,has created the concept of"oral health nurse"and put forward the five steps of the whole pro-cess management of periodontal disease to achieve real-time analysis and long-term response to the needs of patients,which brings a new experience of one-time treatment and lifelong care to the patients.In a word,the above periodontal disease management mode of whole cycle and whole process has effectively improved the fine management level of medi-cal staff in patients with periodontal disease,which has reference value.
