Obesity is a chronic metabolic disease caused by multiple factors.Obesity not only affects children's cardio-vascular,respiratory,endocrine and motor systems etc,but also affects their mental and psychological health.In recent years,the number of obese children is gradually increasing,and the number in China has ranked the first in the world.With the deepening of research on childhood obesity,some scholars have found that it is closely related to oral health.This paper reviews the current status of childhood obesity and its relationship with tooth eruption,dental caries and peri-odontal diseases,in order to provide ideas for the prevention,treatment and research of childhood obesity and oral health-related diseases.
