Digital technology,also known as computer-aided technology,is a kind of digital processing,storage,transmis-sion and presentation of information by means of computers,networks and sensors.The continuous advancement of sci-ence and technology has led to the fast development in the application of digital technology in the medical field.Pediat-ric dentistry involves the cross-fusion of multiple disciplines.The complexities of dentition changes in children at vari-ous developmental stages,coupled with the typically low level of cooperation from pediatric patients,present significant challenges in the diagnosis and treatment process.In recent years,the application of digital technology in pediatric stoma-tology has transformed the diagnosis and treatment mode to the direction of comfort,personalization and precision,which has important clinical significance for improving children's cooperation,enhancing clinical treatment effect and improv-ing diagnosis and treatment efficiency.This article provides a comprehensive review of the application of digital technolo-gy in children's behavior management,malocclusion treatment,oral surgery,dental defect repair and space management.
