Research status of bacteria in human and animal tumors
Trillions of bacteria in humans and animals coordinate the physiological processes of the body and influence host-specific and immune cell functions.It is well established that certain bacte-ria are widely present in various types of tumors in humans and animals and play an important role in the formation of tumor microenvironment and regulation of tumor growth.More results have been obtained on the oncogenic mechanisms associated with bacteria in tumors,which are expected to be new targets for tumor detection and treatment.The purpose of this paper is to review the re-cent research progress of bacteria in human and animal tumors,and to look forward to their appli-cation.
