This experiment is to explore the effect of chronic cold exposure on the mouse kidney.C57BL/6 mice aged 5 weeks were randomly divided into a normal temperature control group and a cold exposure group. The normal temperature control group was fed at room temperature of(24±2)℃,and the cold exposure group was placed in a 4 ℃ artificial intelligence climate room. The mice were randomly stimulated for 3 hours from 8 a.m.to 8 p.m.every day for three weeks. In this study,Western blot was used to detect the expression of oxidative stress and apoptosis related pro-teins in mouse kidneys. The results showed that after cold exposure, the expressions of Nrf-2,HO-1,Cyt-C,BAX/Bcl-2 and activated Caspase-3 protein in mouse kidney increased significantly(P<0.001).The expression of Keap-1 protein decreased significantly(P<0.001).The results showed that cold exposure could aggravate the oxidative stress of the mouse kidney, induce apoptosis, and cause some damage to the kidney. This result provides a reference for further exploring the mecha-nism of kidney damage caused by chronic cold storms, and provides a theoretical basis for diseases caused by cold exposure in the process of animal husbandry.
