Correlation between expression of survivin and vascular endothelial growth factor with recurrent spontaneous abortion
Objective To investigate the correlation of the expression of survivin and vascular endothelial growth factor with recurrent spontaneous abortion. Methods A total of 60 patients with recurrent spontaneous abortion were enrolled in the observation group, and 60 patients with induced abortion were enrolled in the control group. The expressions of survivin and vascular endothelial growth factor in serum and villus tissue of the two groups were measured. The expressions of serum survivin and vascular endothelial growth factor, the positive rates of survivin and vascular endothelial growth factor in villi tissue were compared between the two groups. Results The expressions of serum survivin and vascular endothelial growth factor in the observation group were(12.40±4.42)and(11.43±4.09)pg/ml,which were lower than those of(18.75±2.49)and(18.06±3.41)pg/ml in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The positive rate of survivin and vascular endothelial growth factor in villus tissue of the observation group were 31.67%and 35.00%,which were lower than those of 73.33%and 76.67%of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The positive rate of survivin and vascular endothelial growth factor in villus tissue of patients with recurrent spontaneous abortion is lower than that in healthy people, and the expression of serum survivin and vascular endothelial growth factor in patients with recurrent spontaneous abortion is lower than that in healthy people.Survivin and vascular endothelial growth factor may play an important role in the occurrence and development of recurrent spontaneous abortion.
