Application value of retrograde endoscopic cholangiopancreatography in the treatment of pancreatic and biliary diseases in the elderly
Objective To investigate the effect of retrograde endoscopic cholangiopancreatography on symptoms and quality of prognosis in the treatment of elderly patients with pancreatic and biliary diseases. Methods 90 elderly patients with pancreatic and biliary diseases divided into a control group and an observation group according to the time of admission, with 45 cases in each group. The control group received conventional symptomatic treatment, and the observation group received retrograde endoscopic cholangiopancreatography. The therapeutic effects and quality of life score of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of 95.56%in the observation group was higher than that of 80.00%in the control group(P<0.05).The scores of social function, physical function, emotional role and physical role in the observation group were(79.14±2.76),(81.18±2.23),(82.60±2.28)and(83.50±2.15)points,which were higher than those of(72.70±6.01),(74.75±5.04),(75.11±4.45)and(77.63±4.22)points in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Retrograde endoscopic cholangiopancreatography is beneficial to the improvement of patients'clinical symptoms, the improvement of stone removal effect and treatment effect, but also plays a role in improving patients'quality of life and promoting patients to recover as soon as possible. The overall application effect is good, and is worthy of promotion and application in primary hospitals.
