Effects of budesonide combined with recombinant human interferon α1b aerosol inhalation on pulmonary function indexes in children with RSV bronchiolitis
Objective To explore the effect of budesonide combined with recombinant human interferon α1b aerosol inhalation in children with respiratory syncytial virus(RSV)bronchiolitis and its influence on pulmonary function indexes. Methods 92 children with RSV bronchiolitis were selected and divided into an experimental group and a reference group using Excel table grouping method, with 46 cases in each group. The reference group was treated with basic regimen, and the experimental group was treated with budesonide and recombinant human interferon α1b aerosol inhalation. Both groups were compared in terms of therapeutic effect, disappearance time of symptom and sign, pulmonary function indexes[tidal volume(TV),peak expiratory flow rate(PEF),ratio of the time to reach peak tidal expiratory flow to total expiratory time(TPTEF/TE)and ratio of the volume to reach peak tidal expiratory flow to total expiratory volume(VPTEF/VE)]and inflammatory factors[interleukin-10(IL-10)and interferon-γ(INF-γ)].Results The total effective rate of 97.83%in the experimental group was higher than that of 86.96%in the reference group, and the difference between groups was established(P<0.05).In the experimental group, the disappearance time of pulmonary rale,three-concave sign, wheezing and cough were(4.65±0.88),(2.96±0.52),(3.70±1.08)and(5.18±1.30)d,which were shorter than those of(5.41±1.13),(4.20±0.87),(4.22±0.96)and(2.79±1.24)d in the reference group, and the difference between groups was established(P<0.05).In the experimental group, the pulmonary function indexes of TV,PEF,TPTEF/TE and VPTEF/VE were(7.51±1.29)ml/kg,(5.73±1.54)L/s,(26.91±7.08)%and(29.84±5.33)%,respectively.They were higher than those of(6.35±1.47)ml/kg,(4.02±0.83)L/s,(23.25±6.46)%and(26.91±4.32)%in the reference group, and the difference between groups was established(P<0.05).The levels of IL-10 and INF-γ in the experimental group were(28.06±5.37)and(38.25±6.43)ng/L,respectively,which were higher than those of(15.64±7.22)and(29.36±5.24)ng/L in the control group, and the difference between groups was established(P<0.05).Conclusion Budesonide combined with recombinant human interferon α1b aerosol inhalation in the treatment of children with RSV bronchiolitis is effective, the disappearance time of clinical symptoms and signs is shortened, and the levels of pulmonary function indexes and inflammatory factors are significantly improved, which is of great clinical application value.
