Observation on the clinical effect of silybin capsule on preventing liver damage caused by anti-tuberculosis drugs in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of silybin capsule on preventing liver damage caused by anti tuberculosis drugs in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis. Methods 100 patients with pulmonary tuberculosis were taken as the research subjects, and they were randomly divided into an experimental group and a control group by admission time, with 50 patients in each group. The control group was treated with conventional anti tuberculosis methods, and the experimental group was also treated with silybin capsules based on the control group. The liver function index[gamma glutamyl transpeptidase(GGT),alanine aminotransferase(ALT),aspartate aminotransferase(AST),total bilirubin(TBil)],adverse reaction rate, treatment effect and treatment satisfaction of the two groups were compared. Results After treatment, the levels of ALT,AST,GGT and TBil in the experimental group were significantly lower than those before treatment, while the levels of ALT,AST,GGT and TBil in the control group were higher than those before treatment;and ALT of(34.65±6.23)U/L,AST of(37.25±8.26)U/L,GGT of(7.29±1.69)U/L,TBil of(15.27±4.79)μmol/L in the experimental group were lower than those of(44.76±7.15)U/L,(46.39±9.50)U/L,(12.47±3.01)U/L,(22.31±6.05)μmol/L in the control group. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between patients in the experimental group(14%)and patients in the control group(18%)(P>0.05).After treatment, the total effective rate of the experimental group(86%)was higher than that of the control group(68%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The treatment satisfaction of patients in the experimental group(94%)was significantly higher than the control group(76%)(P<0.05).Conclusion Silybin capsule has an active therapeutic effect on anti tuberculosis drug induced liver damage in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis. It can effectively reduce the occurrence of adverse reactions and improve patient satisfaction. It is worth promoting in clinical practice.
