Clinical efficacy of Yangxue Shengfa Decoction combined with compound betamethasone injection on alopecia areata
Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of Yangxue Shengfa Decoction combined with compound betamethasone injection on alopecia areata(AA).Methods 100 patients with AA were divided into a control group and an observation group according to random number table method,with 50 cases in each group.The control group was treated with compound betamethasone injection,and the observation group was treated with self-designed Yangxue Shengfa Decoction on the basis of the control group.The clinical efficacy,hair signs,terminal hair density,incidence of adverse reactions and recurrence rate were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of 96.00％in the observation group was higher than that of 82.00％in the control group(P<0.05).The incidences of exclamation-like hair,black spot sign,broken hair,yellow spot sign and short cuirass sign in the observation group were 20.00％,18.00％,4.00％,22.00％and 84.00％,respectively,which were lower than those of 38.00％,36.00％,16.00％,42.00％and 100.00％in the control group(P<0.05).The terminal hair density in the observation group were(53.64±8.27),(85.35±12.08)and(165.41±20.05)hairs/cm2 at 4,8 and 12 weeks,which were higher than those of(41.63±6.26),(64.13±10.09)and(118.71±15.48)hairs/cm2 in the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).After 3 months of follow-up,the recurrence rate of 12.00％in the observation group was lower than that of 12.00％in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Yangxue Shengfa Decoction combined with compound betamethasone injection has significant effect in the treatment of AA patients,which can promote hair regeneration and reduce the recurrence rate,and is safe and worthy of promotion.
