Analysis and discussion on the operation of the pharmacy clinic in our hospital
Objective To analyze the operation of the pharmacy clinic in Chongqing Hechuan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine for half a year,so as to improve the level of pharmaceutical care and promote rational drug use.Methods The clinical data of 146 patients who underwent medication counseling in the pharmacy clinic were collected to summarize and analyze the distribution of gender and age of the counseled patients,the category of the counseled medication,the type of the counseled problem,and the satisfaction of the counseled patients.Results In terms of the gender distribution of the consulted patients,the consulting patients were mainly women,with a total of 91 cases,accounting for 62.33％;there were 55 male patients,accounting for 37.67％.In terms of the age distribution of the patients,the top age groups were patients aged 50-69 years and patients aged≥70 years.The total number of drug varieties consulted was 239 kinds,the consultation drugs were mainly cardiovascular system drugs,digestive and metabolic system drugs,respiratory system drugs,and there were also more patients consulting Chinese herbal pieces and Chinese patent drug.The consultation questions mainly involved the usage and dosage,precautions,and medication for special groups,adverse reactions,and methods of taking and decocting Chinese herbal pieces.Of the 146 patients,142 patients(97.26％)were satisfied and 4 patients(2.74％)were dissatisfied.Conclusion The pharmacy clinic has played an important role in improving the level of clinical rational drug use and ensuring the safety of patients'drug use.
