Effect observation of sequential azithromycin therapy on Mycoplasma pneumonia in children
Objective To investigate the effect of sequential azithromycin therapy on Mycoplasma pneumonia in children. Methods 100 children with Mycoplasma pneumonia were selected as study subjects and divided into a control group and an observation group according to random number table method, with 50 cases in each group. The children in both groups were treated with conventional treatment,on the basis of which the control group was treated with intravenous drip of erythromycin, and the observation group was treated with sequential azithromycin therapy. The indications of inflammatory factors and pulmonary function, symptom remission time, incidence of adverse reactions and clinical efficacy were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the interleukin-6 of(11.93±2.43)pg/ml and hypersensitive C-reactive protein(hs-CRP)of(7.19±1.02)mg/L in the observation group were lower than(16.75±2.82)pg/ml and(15.40±1.67)mg/L in the control group. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the forced expiratory volume in one second of(2.01±0.59)L and forced vital capacity of(2.34±0.53)L in the observation group were higher than(1.78±0.55)and(1.92±0.47)L in the control group. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The observation group had hemogram recovery time of(6.32±0.79)d,cough relief time of(4.17±0.57)d,rale disappearance time of(4.54±0.43)d,fever subsidence time of(1.68±0.39)d,which were shorter than(8.21±0.96),(6.05±0.84),(8.63±1.06),(3.40±0.62)d in the control group. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was 4.00%,which was lower than 18.00%in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total effective rate of the observation group was 98.00%,which was higher than 86.00%of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Sequential azithromycin therapy is effective in the treatment of children with Mycoplasma pneumonia, which can reduce the inflammatory response, improve the pulmonary function, accelerate the speed of symptomatic relief of children with high safety, and the feasibility of promotion is high.
