Observation on efficacy of levofloxacin combined with omeprazole on peptic ulcer
Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of levofloxacin combined with omeprazole on peptic ulcer. Methods 50 patients with peptic ulcer were selected and divided into a control group and a study group by random number table method, with 25 cases in each group. The control group was treated with conventional therapy(oral levofloxacin tablets),and the study group was treated with omeprazole enteric capsules on the basis of the control group. The clinical therapeutic effect, the incidence of adverse reactions during treatment and the clearance of Helicobacter pylori before and after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the total effective rate of the study group(96%)was significantly higher than the control group(68%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The Helicobacter pylori clearance rate in the study group(92%)was significantly lower than the control group(60%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in study group(20%)was lower than the control group(56%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Levofloxacin combined with omeprazole is effective and safe in the treatment of peptic ulcer, and is worthy of clinical promotion.
