Medical case of vertigo treatment based on the theory of"yin in property and yang in function of liver"
This article summarizes the concept of vertigo in Chinese medicine and Western medicine,discusses the physiological characteristics of liver,the meaning of"yin in property and yang in function of liver",the relationship between liver and vertigo.From the physiological characteristics of the liver to the theoretical basis of treating vertigo from the liver,two cases of vertigo treatment by Cao Lin and Liu Yingjun based on the theory of"yin in property and yang in function of liver"are listed.Cao Lin's views are summarized as follows:"subdue yang and Zhenshe"treats the symptoms of the disease,"nourishing yin and regulating liver"treats the essence of the disease.This paper grasps the holism to discuss the idea and theoretical basis of treating vertigo.
