Research progress of adiponectin on obese patients with breast cancer
Adiponectin is an adipokine that is most abundant in human plasma and is a secreted protein produced by white adipose tissue(WAT).Serum adiponectin expression levels are associated with a number of metabolically related chronic inflammation, including type 2 diabetes mellitus and obesity.Obesity is a major problem faced by people after the improvement of living standards. It is related to chronic mild inflammation and oxidative stress, and obesity is an independent risk factor in the occurrence and development of breast cancer. The inflammatory fat microenvironment of breast tumors includes more than 600 adipocyte rich secretory factors, which are bioactive polypeptides with a series of pro-inflammatory and anti-inflammatory effects, and these adipokines are closely related to the occurrence and development of breast cancer. This study further explored the relationship between adiponectin and obese patients with breast cancer.
