Observation on the effect of modified Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu decoction on chemotherapy related peripheral neuritis
Objective To analyze the clinical effect of modified Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu decoction on chemotherapy related peripheral neuritis. Methods 100 patients with tumor chemotherapy-related peripheral neuritis were divided into a control group and an observation group according to the random number method, with 50 cases in each group. The control group was treated with conventional Western medicine, and the observation group was treated with modified Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu Decoction. The TCM clinical syndrome score(SLEFI)and curative effect were compared between the two groups. Results Before treatment, there was no significant difference in scores of burnout, fatigue, lower limb numbness and limb pain between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment, the scores of burnout, fatigue, lower limb numbness and limb pain were(0.76±0.17),(0.68±0.25)and(0.76±0.21)points,which were lower than(1.57±0.26),(1.82±0.37)and(1.75±0.24)points in the control group. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total effective rate of the observation group was 96.00%(48/50),which was higher than 70.00%(35/50)of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=11.977,P<0.05).Conclusion Modified Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu decoction can reduce the symptoms of patients with tumor chemotherapy-related peripheral neuritis, and the effect is better than that of Western medicine treatment.
