Analysis of curative effect of modified Shentong Zhuyu Decoction combined with Zhitong San on lumbar disc herniation
Objective To investigate the curative effect of modified Shentong Zhuyu Decoction combined with Zhitong San on lumbar disc herniation.Methods 100 patients with lumbar disc herniation were divided into a control group and a study group according to random number method,with 50 cases in each group.The control group was treated with Zhitong San,and the observation group was treated with modified Shentong Zhuyu Decoction on the basis of the control group.The visual analogue scale(VAS)score,traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score,Japanese Orthopaedic Association(JOA)score and treatment effect were compared between the two groups.Results After 1 and 7 d of treatment,VAS scores of the study group were(4.81±0.49)and(2.52±0.47)points,which were lower than(5.62±0.65)and(4.65±0.56)points of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score of(3.21±0.42)points in the study group was lower than(5.67±1.25)points in the control group,and the JOA score of(23.28±3.17)points was higher than(19.31±3.55)points in the control group.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total effective rate of the study group was 96.00%,which was significantly higher than 72.00%of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=10.714,P=0.001<0.05).Conclusion For patients with lumbar disc herniation,the combination of modified Shentong Zhuyu Decoction and Zhitong San can help to reduce postoperative pain,relieve clinical symptoms,improve traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores,and promote the recovery of lumbar function.It has obvious clinical efficacy and high application value.
