Influence of fumigation with traditional Chinese medicine on functional recovery after surgery for phalangeal fracture
Objective To explore the influence of fumigation with traditional Chinese medicine on functional recovery after surgery for phalangeal fracture.Methods 126 patients with phalangeal fracture were randomly divided into the reference group and the study group,each with 63 cases.All patients were treated with microplate internal fixation,the reference group was combined with rehabilitation exercise after surgery,and the study group was combined with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation on the basis of the reference group.The effect of finger function recovery,clinical indexes and satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of the study group(96.83%)was significantly better than that of the reference group(85.71%)(P<0.05).In the study group,the fracture healing time was(8.79±1.76)weeks,the hospital stay was(4.69±0.54)d and the finger function score was(9.31±0.48)points,which were better than(9.72±2.63)weeks,(7.13±0.72)d and(8.13±0.29)points in the control group(P<0.05).The satisfaction of the study group(95.24%)was significantly higher than that of the reference group(84.13%)(P<0.05).Conclusion After the treatment of patients with phalangeal fracture with microplate internal fixation,fumigation with traditional Chinese medicine can not only help the rehabilitation of finger function,but also accelerate the healing speed of fracture site,which has a high application value and clinical promotion advantage.
