Retrospective analysis of outpatient drug consultation in a third-class hospital in Guangxi in the past 2 years
Objective To retrospectively analyze the situation of outpatient drug consultation in a third-class hospital in Guangxi from July 2021 to June 2023,so as to provide reference for the effective development of drug use consultation.Methods Analysis of the outpatient drug consultation records of the hospital in the past 2 years,including the number of counselors,gender,methods,corresponding clinical departments,content and answers.Results In the 1977 drug consultation records,females were more than males,with 1143 females(57.81%)and 834 males(42.19%)consulted.There were 1670 on-site consultations at the window(accounting for 84.47%)and 307 telephone consultations(accounting for 15.53%).The top three clinical departments with the highest number of consultations were respiratory and critical care medicine(365 cases,accounting for 18.46%),children's diagnosis and treatment centers(283 cases,accounting for 14.31%),and digestive medicine(241 cases,accounting for 12.19%).The top 3 types of consultation questions were the dosage(584 cases,accounting for 29.54%),the time to take the medicine(252 cases,accounting for 12.75%)and the medication for special populations(232 cases,accounting for 11.73%).Conclusion With the improvement of people's living standards and medical standards,the number of drug consultation has increased,and the outpatient drug consultation has been effectively carried out to improve the professional level of pharmacists,which can effectively ensure the drug safety of patients and provide patients with high-quality clinical pharmacy services.
