Effects of laparoscopic minimally invasive surgery on pain, complications and prognosis of patients with perforated appendicitis
Objective To analyze the clinical efficacy of laparoscopic minimally invasive surgery in patients with perforated appendicitis, and its influence on pain and complications of patients. Methods A total of 80 patients with perforated appendicitis were divided into a control group and a study group according to the random numerical table, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with open appendectomy, while the study group was treated with laparoscopic minimally invasive surgery. The perioperative indexes, inflammatory factors, pain scores and complications were compared between the two groups. Results The study group had operative time of(42.01±4.12)min,ambulation time of(10.42±1.26)h,first anal exhaust time of(22.54±1.98)h and hospitalization time of(3.59±1.04)d,which were all shorter than those of(55.43±4.65)min and(23.63±2.98)h,(34.67±3.99)h and(13.76±2.86)d in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the study group had interleukin-6 of(20.03±2.61)pg/ml,procalcitonin of(8.75±1.52)μg/L and C-reactive protein of(18.06±2.61)mg/L,which were lower than those of(35.96±2.65)pg/ml,(13.86±1.79)μg/L and(26.96±2.65)mg/L in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the visual analogue scale(VAS)score of(1.02±0.16)points in the study group was lower than that of(2.51±0.48)points in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the complication rate of 5.00%in the study group was lower than that of 20.00%in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The treatment of perforated appendicitis by laparoscopic minimally invasive surgery can enhance the prognosis, reeieve the pain of patients, and reduce the occurrence of complications, which is worthy of promotion.
