Application of simple external fixation in pre-hospital emergency treatment of multiple trauma with fracture
Objective To analyze the application of simple external fixation in pre-hospital emergency treatment of multiple trauma with fracture. Methods 140 patients with multiple trauma and fracture who received rescue were divided into a conventional group(using conventional rescue method)and an experimental group(using simple external fixation combined with conventional rescue)by different rescue methods, with 70 cases in each group. The self-rating depression scale(SDS),self-rating anxiety scale(SAS),visual analogue scale(VAS)score, patient satisfaction and first-aid effect were compared between the two groups before and after rescue. Results After rescue, the experimental group had SAS score of(40.37±2.57)points,SDS score of(41.76±2.50)points and VAS score of(1.98±0.52)points,which were lower than(70.34±3.18),(47.67±2.53)and(2.86±0.65)points in the conventional group(P<0.05).The total satisfaction of the experimental group was 98.57%,which was higher than 90.00%of the conventional group(P<0.05).The symptom improvement rate of 97.14%in the experimental group was higher than 87.14%in the conventional group;the experimental group had incidence of rebleeding of 1.43%and the incidence of secondary injury of 2.86%,which were lower than 12.86%and 18.57%in the conventional group(P<0.05).Conclusion Simple external fixation can effectively improve the pain of patients with multiple trauma and fracture, improve patient satisfaction, and optimize the rescue effect, which is highly feasible in clinical practice.
