Treatment of 63 cases of urinary tract infection with syndrome of dampness-heat in lower Jiao by modified Xiaochaihu decoction
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of modified Xiaochaihu decoction in the treatment of urinary tract infection with syndrome of dampness-heat in lower Jiao.Methods 126 cases of urinary tract infection with syndrome of dampness-heat in lower Jiao who met the inclusion criteria were divided into a treatment group and a control group according to random number table method,with 63 cases in each group.The control group was treated with cefixime dispersible tablets,and the treatment group was treated with cefixime dispersible tablets and modified Xiaochaihu decoction.The efficacy,traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score before and after treatment,urine routine after treatment and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of the treatment group was 98.4%,and that of the control group was 88.9%.The curative effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score of the treatment group was(1.87±0.95)points,which was significantly lower than(3.03±0.04)points of the control group(P<0.05).The recovery rate of urine routine in the treatment group was 98.4%,which was better than 88.9%in the control group(P<0.05).No serious adverse drug reactions occurred in both groups.Conclusion Modified Xiaochaihu decoction has significant clinical efficacy in the treatment of urinary tract infection with syndrome of dampness-heat in lower Jiao,and is worthy of clinical promotion.
