Observation on clinical effect of warm acupuncture combined with modified Xiaojianzhong decoction on peptic ulcer with deficiency-cold of spleen and stomach syndrome
Objective To study the clinical effect of warm acupuncture combined with modified Xiaojianzhong decoction on peptic ulcer with deficiency-cold of spleen and stomach syndrome.Methods A total of 80 cases of peptic ulcer patients with deficiency-cold of spleen and stomach syndrome were divided into a control group(odd number)and an observation group(even number)according to hospitalization number,with 40 cases in each group.The control group was treated with modified Xiaojianzhong decoction,while the observation group was treated with warm acupuncture.Both groups were compared in terms of clinical efficacy,clinical improvement,traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score and clinical relevant indicators[serum epidermal growth factor(EGF)in,gastric EGF,epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR)in gastric mucosa(integrated optical density,area percentage),serum nitric oxide(NO)and interleukin-10(IL-10)].Results The total effective rate of 95.00% in the observation group was higher than 77.50% in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the scores of stomachache,distension,weakness and poor appetite in both groups decreased compared with those before treatment;the scores of stomachache,distension,weakness and poor appetite in the observation group were(1.23±0.30),(1.11±0.23),(1.01±0.12)and(0.87±0.16)points,which were lower than(3.97±0.46),(2.55±0.34),(1.58±0.21)and(1.58±0.27)points in the control group(P<0.05).In the observation group,the ulcer area of(2.31±0.78)cm2 was smaller than(4.81±1.89)cm2 in the control group,the ulcer recurrence rate of 5.00% was lower than 20.00% in the control group,and the clearance rate of Helicobacter pylori(Hp)of 92.50% was higher than 75.00% in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of serum EGF,gastric fluid EGF,integrated optical density and area percentage in both groups were higher than those before treatment;in the observation group,the serum EGF was(0.59±0.11)ng/ml,the gastric EGF was(0.83±0.16)ng/ml,the integrated optical density was(1.78±0.23)D,the area percentage was(28.72±4.12)% ,which were higher than(0.43±0.10)ng/ml,(0.47±0.20)ng/ml,(1.34±0.24)D,(21.52±3.87)% in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of NO and IL-10 in both groups were higher than those before treatment;the observation group had NO of(74.80±9.75)μmol/L and IL-10 of(123.25±5.11)ng/L,which were higher than(62.14±10.25)μmol/L and(110.57±5.44)ng/L in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion For the treatment of peptic ulcer with deficiency-cold of spleen and stomach syndrome,the combination of warm acupuncture and modified Xiaojianzhong decoction can improve the clinical effect,effectively improve the clinical symptoms and related clinical indicators of patients,alleviate the pain of patients,and promote their recovery as soon as possible,which has high clinical application value.
