Analysis of curative effect of silver needle therapy combined with pulse radiofrequency adjacent to the cervical 2 dorsal root ganglion in treatment of cervicogenic headache
Objective To analyze the effect of silver needle therapy combined with pulse radiofrequency adjacent to the cervical 2 dorsal root ganglion in treatment of cervicogenic headache. Methods 80 patients with cervicogenic headache were selected as research subjects and divided into a control group and an observation group according to different treatment methods, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with pulse radiofrequency adjacent to the cervical 2 dorsal root ganglion, and the observation group was treated with silver needle therapy combined with pulse radiofrequency adjacent to the cervical 2 dorsal root ganglion. Both groups were compared in terms of clinical effects, visual analogue scale(VAS)score, cervical range of motion(ROM),cervical vascular pulsation index(PI),resistance index(RI),vertebral artery mean blood flow velocity(Vm)before and after treatment, and treatment satisfaction. Results The total effective rate of the observation group treatment was 92.50% ,which was higher than the control group's 75.00% ,and there was a difference in comparison(P<0.05).After treatment,VAS score in both groups was lower than that before treatment, and ROM was higher than that before treatment;the observation group had lower VAS score of(2.05±0.34)points than(5.22±1.06)points in the control group, and higher ROM of(41.04±8.21)° than(34.18±8.57)° in the control group;there was a difference in comparison(P<0.05).After treatment,PI and RI in both groups were lower than those before treatment, and Vm was higher than that before treatment;the observation group had PI of(0.61±0.42)and RI of(0.51±0.07),which were lower than(0.85±0.53)and(0.61±0.11)in the control group;the observation group had higher Vm of(36.98±6.38)cm/s than(30.13±5.92)cm/s in the control group;there was a difference in comparison(P<0.05).The satisfaction of the observation group was 97.50% ,which was higher than the control group's 85.00% (P<0.05).Conclusion Combined therapy(silver needle therapy + pulse radiofrequency adjacent to the cervical 2 dorsal root ganglion)can effectively relieve pain and activity limitation in patients with cervicogenic headache, improve clinical treatment effect and improve hemodynamics, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
