Clinical effect of lansoprazole combined with octreotide in the treatment of non-varicose upper gastrointestinal bleeding
Objective To explore the clinical effect of lansoprazole combined with octreotide in the treatment of non-varicose upper gastrointestinal bleeding. Methods 50 patients with non-varicose upper gastrointestinal bleeding were randomly divided into a reference group and a study group, with 25 cases in each group. The reference group was treated with lansoprazole, and the study group was treated with octreotide and lansoprazole. The treatment effect, bleeding, hemoglobin level, occurrence of adverse reactions and quality of life were compared between the two groups. Results The effective rate of treatment in the study group was 100.00% ,which was higher than 84.00% in the reference group, and the difference was significant(P<0.05).In the study group, the amount of sustained bleeding of(186.56±62.56)ml was less than(312.67±112.56)ml in the reference group, and the duration of sustained bleeding of(11.45±4.56)h was shorter than(21.35±5.67)h in the reference group. The difference was significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the hemoglobin level in both groups increased;the hemoglobin level of(104.62±30.09)g/L in the study group was higher than(87.54±23.34)g/L in the reference group;the difference was significant(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions was 8.00% in the reference group and 4.00% in the study group, and the difference was not significant(P>0.05).After treatment, the quality of life score in both groups increased, and the quality of life score of(91.34±5.87)points in the study group was higher than(80.89±5.67)points in the reference group. The difference was significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of octreotide and lansoprazole has a significant therapeutic effect on patients with non-varicose upper gastrointestinal bleeding.
