Study on the clinical efficacy of silver ion alginate dressing combined with recombinant bovine pro-epidermal growth factor gel in the treatment of fat liquefaction and infection around enterostomy
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of silver ion alginate dressing combined with recombinant bovine pro-epidermal growth factor gel in the treatment of fat liquefaction and infection around enterostomy. Methods 40 patients with colorectal cancer or intestinal obstruction underwent small intestine or colostomy and combined with fat liquefaction and infection around enterostomy were divided into an experimental group(21 cases)and a control group(19 cases)according to the random numerical table. Both groups were treated with conventional aseptic disinfection on the basis of conventional systemic comprehensive treatment. On this basis, the control group was treated with oil gauze, and the experimental group was treated with silver ion alginate dressing combined with recombinant bovine pro-epidermal growth factor gel.The bacterial culture positivity rate of wound exudate and wound reduction rate at 1 week,2 weeks and 1 month of treatment and hospitalization time of the two groups were counted and compared. Results At 1 and 2 weeks of treatment, the bacterial culture positivity rate of wound exudate in the experimental group were 23.81% and 14.29% ,which were lower than 57.89% and 42.11% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).At 1 week of treatment, there was no difference in the wound reduction rate between the two groups(P>0.05).At 2 weeks and 1 month of treatment, the wound reduction rates of the experimental group were(31.56±2.47)and(85.57±4.94)% ,which were higher than(25.42±1.66)% and(74.28±4.51)% of the control group(P<0.05).The hospitalization time of(20.19±3.58)d in the experimental group was shorter than(29.04±5.31)d in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The use of silver ion alginate dressing combined with recombinant bovine pro-epidermal growth factor gel for patients with fat liquefaction and infection around enterostomy can effectively promote wound healing, promote patient rehabilitation, shorten hospitalization time, reduce hospitalization costs, and lighten the burden of inpatients and their families.
