Effect of mifepristone combined with intraamniotic injection of ethacridine lactate in termination of second trimester pregnancy in a scarred uterus
Objective To explore the effect of mifepristone combined with intraamniotic injection of ethacridine lactate in termination of second trimester pregnancy in a scarred uterus. Methods 80 scarred uterus patients requiring termination of second trimester pregnancy were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with intraamniotic injection of ethacridine lactate, and the observation group was treated with intraamniotic injection of ethacridine lactate combined with oral mifepristone. The success rate of labor induction, time of uterine contraction initiation, placental delivery time, vaginal blood loss, occurrence of adverse drug reactions and complications of labor induction were compared between the two groups. Results The success rate of labor induction in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(95.00% VS 77.50% ,χ2=5.1647,P<0.05).The time of uterine contraction initiation and placental delivery time in the observation group were(28.35±1.69)and(8.89±1.57)min,which were shorter than(32.67±2.58)and(11.63±2.25)min in the control group;the observation group had less vaginal blood loss of(121.58±13.04)ml than(149.63±16.59)ml in the control group;and the difference was statistically significant(t=8.8586,6.3162,8.4072;P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse drug reactions between the observation group and the control group(22.50% VS 15.00% ,χ2=0.7385,P>0.05).The complication rate of labor induction in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(22.50% VS 55.00% ,χ2=8.9006,P<0.05).Conclusion Mifepristone combined with intraamniotic injection of ethacridine lactate injection has an ideal effect in termination of second trimester pregnancy in a scarred uterus, which can effectively improve the success rate of labor induction of patients, shorten the duration of labor, reduce the amount of vaginal blood loss, and reduce the risk of complications. At the same time,it does not significantly increase the adverse drug reactions of patients, and is worth promoting.
