Objective To analyze the relevant influencing factors of hospitalization time after laparoscopic appendectomy and explore intervention strategies. Methods 100 patients who underwent laparoscopic appendectomy were selected and divided into≤5 d group(64 cases)and>5 d group(36 cases)according to their postoperative hospital stay. The clinical data[gender, age, educational level, body mass index(BMI),course of disease, type of appendicitis, stump treatment, white blood cell count,neutrophils,C-reactive protein, intraoperative adherent effusion, past medical history, specimen bag perforation technique, complications, operation time, and intraoperative blood loss]of the two groups was compared. The factors influencing hospitalization time after laparoscopic appendectomy and the intervention strategies were analyzed. Results Age,educational level,BMI,course of disease, type of appendicitis, white blood cell count,neutrophils,C-reactive protein, intraoperative adherent effusion, specimen bag perforation technique, complications and history of chronic appendicitis, hypertension and diabetes in≤5 d group were significantly different from those in>5 d group(x2=8.344,10.807,10.672,11.064,7.601,5.123,4.634,5.403,4.690,8.333,8.074,4.881,11.067,5.740;P<0.05).There were no differences in gender, stump treatment, operation time and intraoperative blood loss between the two groups(P>0.05).Logistic multivariate analysis showed that age,BMI,course of disease, type of appendicitis,C-reactive protein, intraoperative adhesion effusion, history of chronic appendicitis, specimen bag puncture technique, and complications were the influencing factors of hospitalization time after laparoscopic appendectomy(P<0.05).Conclusion When laparoscopic appendicitis surgery is performed, factors such as patient age,BMI,course of disease, type of appendicitis,C-reactive protein, intraoperative adherent effusion, history of chronic appendicitis, specimen bag perforation technique, complications can have a significant impact on hospitalization time.Perioperative intervention should be strengthened to minimize hospitalization time.
