Clinical effect analysis of transurethral plasma resection of the prostate in the treatment of prostatic hyperplasia
Objective To explore the clinical effect of transurethral plasma resection of the prostate in the treatment of prostatic hyperplasia. Methods 80 patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia were selected for study. The patients were randomly divided into a control group and an experimental group, with 40 cases in each group. The patients in the control group were treated by transurethral resection of the prostate enucleation, while the patients in the experimental group were treated by transurethral plasma resection of the prostate. The surgical indicators, and incidence of complications after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results The operation time, intraoperative blood loss and catheter indwelling time of the experimental group were(106.29±8.45)min,(81.26±8.18)ml and(1.95±0.63)d,and those of the control group were(121.96±10.21)min,(205.15±6.59)ml and(2.96±0.96)d.Compared with the control group, the operation time, intraoperative blood loss and catheter indwelling time of the experimental group were significantly better, and the difference was significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the incidence of complications of 5.00%in the experimental group was significantly lower than 22.50%in the control group, and the difference was significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Transurethral plasma resection of the prostate for patients with prostatic hyperplasia can obtain good results and has few complications, and is worthy of further promotion and application.
