Effect of intrauterine infusion combined with doxycycline on pregnancy outcome in patients with chronic endometritis complicated by recurrent implantation failure
Objective To explore the effect of intrauterine infusion combined with doxycycline on pregnancy outcome in patients with chronic endometritis(CE)complicated by recurrent implantation failure(RIF).Methods 102 patients with chronic endometritis and RIF were selected and randomly divided into an observation group and a control group according to the random numerical table, with 51 cases in each group. The observation group was treated with intrauterine infusion of levofloxacin, dexamethasone and chorionic gonadotropin, and oral administration of doxycycline, and the control group was treated with oral administration of doxycycline. The treatment efficacy, pregnancy outcomes, and peripheral blood inflammatory cytokines[interleukin-1β(IL-1β),interleukin-6(IL-6),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)]levels were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the levels of IL-6,IL-1β and TNF-α in peripheral venous blood decreased in both groups;the observation group had IL-6 of(20.17±5.29)ng/L,IL-1β of(101.23±13.14)ng/L and TNF-α of(45.28±9.07)ng/L,which were lower than(30.68±4.98),(128.57±11.81)and(62.78±9.62)ng/L in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total effective rate of 96.08%in the observation group was higher than 76.47%in the control group(P<0.05).The clinical pregnancy rate in the observation group was 76.47%,which was higher than 56.86%in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in biochemical pregnancy rate, early abortion rate and live birth rate between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Intrauterine infusion of levofloxacin, dexamethasone, and chorionic gonadotropin for injection combined with oral administration of doxycycline for CE and RIF patients has a significant therapeutic effect, which helps to increase the pregnancy rate and improve the pregnancy outcome of patients, and is worthy of clinical promotion.
