Analysis of the effect of Duhuo Jisheng decoction combined with warm acupuncture in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis
Objective To explore the effect of Duhuo Jisheng decoction combined with warm acupuncture in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis.Methods 82 patients with rheumatoid arthritis were studied and randomly divided into a control group(n=41)and an observation group(n=41).The control group was given conventional treatment,and the observation group was given Duhuo Jisheng decoction combined with warm acupuncture for treatment.Both groups were compared in terms of clinical symptoms(number of swollen joints,number of joint tenderness,duration of morning stiffness)and the levels of inflammatory factors[tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),C-reactive protein(CRP),interleukin-1(IL-1),interleukin-6(IL-6)].Results Before treatment,there was no significant difference in the number of swollen joints,number of joint tenderness and duration of morning stiffness between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment,the number of swollen joints and number of joint tenderness was less than those before treatment,and the duration of morning stiffness was shorter than that before treatment;the observation group had number of swollen joints of(3.12±1.24)joints and number of joint tenderness of(5.12±2.18)joints,which were less than(4.33±2.07)and(7.23±2.88)joints in the control group;the observation group had shorter duration of morning stiffness of(25.44±9.11)min than(32.73±14.82)min in the control group;the difference was significant(P<0.05).Before treatment,there was no significant difference in IL-1,IL-6,TNF-α and CRP between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment,IL-1,IL-6,TNF-α and CRP in both groups were lower than those before treatment;the observation group had IL-1 of(32.55±2.76)ng/L,IL-6 of(16.34±5.11)ng/L,TNF-α of(3.83±1.16)pg/ml,and CRP of(9.18±2.15)mg/L,which were lower than(41.31±3.58)ng/L,(23.06±1.38)ng/L,(7.84±2.52)pg/ml,and(18.36±2.41)mg/L in the control group;the difference was significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Duhuo Jisheng decoction combined with warm acupuncture treatment can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis patients,reduce the inflammatory response,and have a positive impact on the improvement of patients'prognosis,which is worth promoting.
