Efficacy observation of five-element music combined with auricular point pressing for heroin protracted withdrawal syndrome
Objective To observe the effect of five-element music combined with auricular point pressing for heroin protracted withdrawal syndrome. Methods 60 male heroin addicts were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random numerical table, with 30 cases in each group. The control group received general rehabilitation and nursing, while the observation group was given five-element music combined with auricular point pressing on the basis of the control group. The heroin protracted withdrawal syndrome score(scores of somatic symptoms, emotional symptoms, craving symptoms, sleep disturbances and total score)and serume dopamine(DA)levels were compared before and after the intervention. Results After the intervention, the scores of somatic symptoms, emotional symptoms, craving symptoms, sleep disturbances and total score in both groups decreased significantly compared with those before the intervention;the scores of somatic symptoms, emotional symptoms, craving symptoms, sleep disturbances and total score in the observation group were(3.36±0.67),(2.67±0.55),(3.40±0.97),(2.30±0.60)and(11.73±1.39)points,which were significantly lower than(6.03±1.50),(4.37±1.38),(5.93±1.86),(3.57±1.07)and(19.90±3.05)points in the control group;the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).After the intervention, the serum DA level in both groups decreased significantly compared with that before the intervention;the observation group had significantly lower serum DA of(55.78±4.61)pmol/L than(69.45±8.43)pmol/L in the control group;the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Application of five-element music combined with auricular point pressing can significantly improve heroin protracted withdrawal syndrome, which is worthy of clinical promotion an application.
