Adverse reactions and rational use of atorvastatin in clinical practice
Objective To explore the adverse reactions and rational use of atorvastatin in clinical practice. Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 60 patients with adverse reactions after receiving atorvastatin treatment. The age distribution, combined drug use, comorbidities, involved sites and clinical manifestations of patients were summarized and analyzed. Results In 60 patients, the incidence rate was 8.33%at the age of 33-40 years,16.67%at the age of 41-50 years,26.67%at the age of 51-60 years, and 48.33%at the age of 61-87 years.According to statistics, the proportion of adverse reactions in patients>50 years old was slightly higher than that in patients≤50 years old.Of the 60 patients,19 cases were accompanied by hyperlipidemia, accounting for 31.67%;the other patients had diseases such as diabetes, hypertension and coronary heart disease, accounting for 68.33%.During the application of atorvastatin,28 patients were treated with 2-4 drugs in combination, accounting for 46.67%,including cardiovascular system drugs and antibiotics.Of the 60 patients, adverse reactions mainly occurred in digestive system, skeletal muscle system, blood system and immune system, accounting for 33.33%,46.67%,5.00%and 15.00%,respectively.Conclusion When using atorvastatin in clinical treatment, the combination of multiple drugs is prone to adverse reactions, affecting the digestive system, immune system, skeletal muscle system, and blood system. Therefore, before applying atorvastatin drugs,it is necessary to comprehensively consider the interactions between drugs, and use drugs reasonably based on patient age and disease type to reduce the occurrence of adverse reactions and improve clinical efficacy.
