Analysis of factors influencing postoperative hemorrhage after thyroid surgery
Objective To analyze the factors influencing postoperative hemorrhage after thyroid surgery,in order to provide reference for clinical prevention and treatment. Methods The clinical data of 849 patients who underwent first and multiple thyroid surgeries was retrospectively analyzed, and they were divided into postoperative hemorrhage group(23 cases)and non-postoperative hemorrhage group(826 cases)according to the occurrence of postoperative hemorrhage. The clinical data such as gender, operation time, age, hypertension, obesity, postoperative cough and clinical stage were compared between the two groups. The factors influencing postoperative hemorrhage after thyroid surgery were analyzed. Results The percentages of male patients, hypertension, obesity and postoperative cough in postoperative hemorrhage group were 69.57%,78.26%,73.91%and 69.57%,which were higher than 33.78%,52.78%,44.55%and 48.43%in non-hemorrhage group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in operation time, age and clinical stage between the two groups(P>0.05).With postoperative hemorrhage as the dependent variable, and obesity, hypertension, male and postoperative cough as the independent variables,Logistic regression analysis showed that obesity, hypertension, male and cough were independent risk factors leading to postoperative hemorrhage after thyroid surgery(P<0.05).Conclusion Male, obesity, cough, and hypertension are risk factors for postoperative hemorrhage after thyroid surgery.Special attention should be paid to the swelling and drainage of the patient's wound after surgery, and timely evaluation of the patient's airway status and other comprehensive conditions should be conducted.
