Evaluation of the effect of clinical pharmacist intervention in the use of quinolones in respiratory medicine
Objective To evaluate the effect of clinical pharmacist intervention in the use of quinolones in respiratory medicine,so as to standardize the use of quinolones and promote the rational use of these drugs in clinic.Methods 42 medical records of patients with unreasonable use of quinolones in respiratory department reviewed and intervened by clinical pharmacists were selected.The irrational use of quinolones was analyzed and evaluated,the common problems of irrational use of quinolones were summarized,and the review suggestions and improvement measures were put forward.Results The main reasons for irrational use of quinolones in respiratory medicine were unindicated combination and excessive duration of medication,accounting for 42.86%and 26.19%,respectively,followed by contraindications to medication,drug interactions,inappropriate medication,and excessive medication dosage,accounting for 9.52%,9.52%,7.14%,and 4.76%,respectively.Clinical pharmacists gave recommendations for review of medical prescriptions and 36 prescriptions were reorganized with an adoption rate of 85.71%.Conclusion Clinical pharmacists played an important role in intervening the use of antibacterial drugs,which improved the rational use of clinical antibacterial drugs and ensured the safety of patients.
