Observation on curative effect of medicated moxibustion combined with acupuncture on lumbodorsal myofascitis
Objective To explore the curative effect of medicated moxibustion combined with acupuncture on lumbodorsal myofascitis. Methods A total of 82 patients with lumbodorsal myofascitis were divided into a control group and a study group according to the order of admission, each with 41 cases. The control group received acupuncture treatment, and the study group received medicated moxibustion combined acupuncture treatment. The therapeutic effect,Oswestry disability index(ODI)score, visual analog scale(VAS)score and adverse events were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the study group was 97.6%,which was higher than 82.9%in the control group(P<0.05).There were no differences in ODI score and VAS score between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment, the study group had ODI score of(21.6±4.2)points and VAS score of(2.6±0.6)points,which were lower than(14.1±3.3)and(4.8±1.1)points in the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse events in the study group was 2.4%,which was lower than 14.6%in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Compared with acupuncture treatment alone, medicated moxibustion combined with acupuncture for the treatment of lumbodorsal myofasciitis has better efficacy and higher safety, and is worth applying.
