The expression of IL-1 β,IL-6,IFN-γ in the serum of children with influenza A(H1N1)virus pneumonia and its correlation with disease prognosis
Objective To study the expression of interleukin-1β(IL-1β),interleukin-6(IL-6),gamma interferon(IFN-γ)in the serum of children with influenza A(H1N1)virus pneumonia and its correlation with disease prognosis. Methods 40 children with influenza A(H1N1)virus pneumonia were selected as the observation group, and another 40 healthy children who underwent physical examinations were selected as the control group. All research subjects were tested for IL-1β,IL-6 and IFN-γ using enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)method.Comparison was made on expressions of IL-1β,IL-6 and IFN-γ between the two groups, diagnostic efficacy of single versus combined testing of IL-1β,IL-6 and IFN-γ for influenza A(H1N1)virus pneumonia,as well as the expression levels of IL-1β,IL-6,and IFN-γ in children with different prognoses(cured, effective, and ineffective)in the observation group. Results The expression levels of IL-1β,IL-6 and IFN-γ in the observation group were(32.56±3.72)pg/ml,(15.80±3.36)pg/ml and(12.15±3.13)μg/L,which were higher than(6.39±1.05)pg/ml,(4.35±0.50)pg/ml and(3.61±0.42)μg/L in the control group(P<0.05).IL-1β had a diagnostic sensitivity of 80.00%and a specificity of 77.50%for influenza A(H1N1)virus pneumonia;IL-6 had a diagnostic sensitivity of 75.00%and a specificity of 77.50%for influenza A(H1N1)virus pneumonia;IFN-γ had a diagnostic sensitivity of 77.50%and a specificity of 80.00%for influenza A(H1N1)virus pneumonia;combined testing has a diagnostic sensitivity of 95.00%,and a specificity of 55.00%.The diagnostic sensitivity of the combined testing for influenza A(H1N1)virus pneumonia was higher than that of the single testing of IL-1β,IL-6 and IFN-γ,and the specificity was lower than that of the single testing of IL-1β,IL-6 and IFN-γ(P<0.05).In the observation group,18 children were cured after treatment,17 were effective and 5 were ineffective. The expression levels of IL-1β,IL-6 and IFN-γ in the cured children were lower than those in the effective and ineffective children, and the expression levels of IL-1β,IL-6 and IFN-γ in effective children were lower than those of ineffective children(P<0.05).Conclusion IL-1β,IL-6 and IFN-γ are closely related to the condition of children with influenza A(H1N1)virus pneumonia, and these indicators are of great value in judging the prognosis of children.
