Observation on clinical efficacy of press needle and Lanqin oral liquid in the treatment of acute tonsillitis in children
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of press needle and Lanqin oral liquid in the treatment of acute tonsillitis in children. Methods 200 children with acute tonsillitis were selected for study.According to the random number table method, they were divided into a reference group and a study group, each with 100 children. The reference group was treated with Lanqin oral liquid, and the study group was treated with press needle and Lanqin oral liquid. The clinical efficacy, improvement time of clinical symptoms and recurrence, quality of life and occurrence of adverse drug reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate in the study group was 96.00%,which was higher than 82.00%in the reference group, and the comparison between groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).The recurrence rate in the study group was 2.00%,which was lower than 11.00%in the reference group;in the study group, the disappearance time of pharyngeal discomfort or pain symptoms was(46.38±4.82)h and the recovery time of body temperature was(31.72±3.07)h,which were shorter than(68.41±5.04)and(49.31±4.79)h in the reference group;the comparison between groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the scores of emotional function, physical function, social function and mental state in the study group were(87.06±7.27),(85.26±7.66),(84.16±7.94)and(83.89±7.68)points,which were higher than(76.17±6.89),(72.08±6.84),(75.41±6.91)and(73.52±6.65)points in the reference group. The comparison between groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse drug reactions in the study group was 6.00%,which was lower than 21.00%in the reference group, and the comparison between groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The clinical efficacy of press needle and Lanqin oral liquid in the treatment of acute tonsillitis in children is ideal, which can shorten the improvement time of clinical symptoms and promote the early recovery of children. This method is suggested to be widely promoted.
