Observation on the therapeutic effect of low-temperature plasma radiofrequency ablation in patients with benign tumors of the pharynx and larynx
Objective To explore the therapeutic effect of low-temperature plasma radiofrequency ablation in patients with benign tumors of the pharynx and larynx. Methods 156 patients with benign tumors of the pharynx and larynx were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group, each with 78 cases. The observation group received low-temperature plasma radiofrequency ablation, and the control group underwent laryngeal forceps resection under a supportive laryngoscope. The clinical efficacy, intraoperative blood loss, surgical time, and wound healing time were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the observation group and the control group were 94.87%and 80.77%,and the observation group was significantly higher than the control group. There was statistical difference(P<0.05).The intraoperative blood loss in the observation group was(120.85±19.53)ml,which was less than(221.53±21.52)ml in the control group;the surgical time and wound healing time in the observation group were(30.68±4.73)min and(9.23±3.72)d,which were shorter than(52.45±7.82)min and(15.26±3.79)d in the control group;there was statistical difference(P<0.05).Conclusion Low-temperature plasma radiofrequency ablation shows high clinical efficacy for the treatment of benign tumors of the pharynx and larynx, with less low intraoperative blood loss, shorter surgical time and wound healing time.It can be promoted in clinic.
