Research progress on the application of new loop diuretic torsemide in the clinical treatment of patients with heart failure
Heart failure refers to a disease in which the heart does not function well enough to meet the body's needs.Loop diuretics are a type of diuretic that can be used in the clinical treatment of patients with heart failure. The drug can act on the thick and thin segments of the ascending branch of the ascending segment of the renal tubule, inhibit the reabsorption of sodium, chloride, magnesium and calcium, and increase the volume of urine and the excretion of sodium to reduce the cardiac load.Torsemide is a new loop diuretic, and its application effect in the clinical treatment of patients with heart failure has attracted much attention.Torsemide is a highly efficient loop diuretic, which has many advantages compared with traditional loop diuretics, but its mechanism of action is also more complex. For example, torsemide can act on the Na+-K+-2Cl-cotransporter(NKCC2)in the thick segment of the ascending branch of the renal tubule, inhibit the reabsorption of Na+-K+-2Cl-,increase urine output and sodium excretion to reduce the cardiac load.In this regard, this article reviews the progress of research on the application of torsemide,a new loop diuretic,in the clinical management of patients with heart failure.
