The efficacy and safety of low-dose aspirin combined with glucocorticoids in the treatment of pediatric allergic purpura
Objective To analyze the effect of low-dose aspirin combined with glucocorticoids in the treatment of pediatric allergic purpura. Methods A total of 102 pediatric patients with allergic purpura were selected as the study subjects. The patients were randomly divided into a conventional group and a study group, each with 51 cases. The conventional group received corticosteroid treatment, while the study group received low-dose aspirin combined with corticosteroid treatment. The treatment effects, incidence of adverse reactions, time for symptom disappearance, inflammatory factors, platelet parameters, and complement indicators were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the study group was 98.04%,which was higher than 84.31%of the conventional group, and there was a significant difference between groups(P<0.05).There was no statistical significance in the incidence of adverse reactions between groups(P>0.05).In the study group, the disappearance time of rash, abdominal pain, arthralgia and kidney injury were(6.16±1.87),(5.01±1.65),(6.71±1.72)and(7.76±1.95)d,which were shorter than(8.83±2.24),(6.68±1.78),(8.27±1.84)and(9.49±2.44)d in the conventional group, and there were significant differences between groups(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of interleukin-6,hypersensitive C-reactive protein and tumor necrosis factor-α in the study group were(23.20±3.28)ng/L,(10.16±2.86)mg/L and(27.53±3.87)fmol/ml,which were lower than(27.94±4.48)ng/L,(13.47±3.18)mg/L and(32.29±4.93)fmol/ml in the conventional group, and there were significant differences between groups(P<0.05).After treatment, the platelet count, mean platelet volume and platelet distribution width of the study group were(242.11±20.42)×109/L,(8.12±2.67)fl and(20.61±3.08)%,which were significantly lower than(260.44±19.98)×109/L,(10.93±2.87)fl and(24.33±3.33)%of the conventional group(P<0.05).After treatment,C3 and C4 in the study group were(0.84±0.07)and(0.12±0.05)g/L,which were lower than(1.37±0.41)and(0.41±0.16)g/L in the conventional group, and there were significant differences between groups(P<0.05).Conclusion The use of low-dose aspirin combined with glucocorticoids for the treatment of pediatric allergic purpura can improve symptoms, reduce levels of inflammatory factors and complement indicators, and reduce platelet parameters. The therapeutic effect is significant and the clinical application value is high.
