Analysis of the effect of high-frequency electroresection and EMR on gastrointestinal polyps
Objective To study the effect of high-frequency electroresection and endoscopic mucosal resection(EMR)on gastrointestinal polyps. Methods A total of 546 patients with gastrointestinal polyps were randomly divided into two groups according to the Internet system, the patients were divided into a control group(273 cases, treated with high frequency electroresection)and a guidance group(273 cases, treated with EMR).The postoperative complications, postoperative hospitalization time and defecation time, and the amount of intraoperative bleeding were compared between the two groups. Results The incidence of postoperative complications was 8.79%in the guidance group, while the incidence of postoperative complications was 18.68%in the control group;the incidence of postoperative complications in the guidance group was significantly lower than that in the control group, and the data between the two groups were statistically significant difference(P<0.05).The postoperative hospitalization time of the guidance group was(6.21±1.05)d and the defecation time was(11.48±1.88)h,which were significantly shorter than(8.37±2.68)d and(13.16±3.06)h in the control group, and the data between the two groups were statistically significant difference(P<0.05).The amount of intraoperative bleeding was(3.26±1.06)ml in the control group, while the amount of intraoperative bleeding was(5.04±1.39)ml in the control group;the amount of intraoperative bleeding in the guidance group was significantly lower than that in the control group, and the data between the two groups were statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion EMR is effective in the treatment of gastrointestinal polyps.
