Observation on the clinical efficacy of assisted mechanical ventilation in ICU patients with acute left heart failure
Objective To analyze the effect of assisted mechanical ventilation in intensive care unit(ICU)patients with acute left heart failure. Methods A total of 104 ICU patients with acute left heart failure were selected and divided into a conventional group and a study group by random sampling method, with 52 cases in each group. The conventional group was treated with simple drug therapy, and the study group was treated with assisted mechanical ventilation based on the conventional group. The rescue results, rescue satisfaction, cardiac function index, respiratory rate, heart rate, arterial blood gas index and the incidence of adverse events were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the study group was 98.08%,which was higher than 82.69%of the conventional group, and the difference was statistically valuable(P<0.05).The total rescue satisfaction of the study group was 96.15%,which was higher than 80.77%of the conventional group, and the difference was statistically valuable(P<0.05).There was no statistical difference in incidence of adverse events between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment, the left ventricular end-systolic diameter of(33.34±1.56)mm and the left ventricular end-diastolic diameter of(38.04±2.01)mm in the study group were smaller than(40.32±1.62)and(46.39±2.23)mm in the conventional group;the left ventricular ejection fraction of(54.35±2.37)%in the study group was higher than(49.23±2.26)%in the conventional group;the difference was statistically valuable(P<0.05).After treatment, the respiratory rate of the study group was(18.14±1.32)times/min,the heart rate was(71.21±8.43)beats/min,the arterial partial pressure of oxygen was(94.76±11.45)mm Hg(1 mm Hg=0.133kPa),the arterial partial pressure of carbon dioxide was(38.23±2.12)mm Hg and pH was(7.97±0.46),which were better than(20.24±2.56)times/min,(83.78±11.56)beats/min,(88.12±11.05)mm Hg,(44.24±2.45)mm Hg and(7.56±0.58)of the conventional group. The difference was statistically valuable(P<0.05).Conclusion The use of assisted mechanical ventilation and drug therapy for ICU patients with acute left heart failure can effectively improve the cardiac function indexes and arterial blood gas-related indexes of the patients, with remarkable therapeutic effects and high clinical application value.
