Treatment of 33 cases of community-acquired pneumonia with self-made Tuire decoction combined with pricking blood therapy
Objective To observe the efficacy of modified Tuire decoction combined with pricking blood therapy in the treatment of community-acquired pneumonia. Methods 64 patients with community-acquired pneumonia were randomly divided into a treatment group(33 cases)and a control group(31 cases). The control group was routinely treated with anti-infective and expectorant treatments according to the guidelines for the treatment of community-acquired pneumonia, and the treatment group was treated with self-made Tuire decoction combined with pricking blood therapy on the basis of the comprehensive treatment of the control group. The body temperature recovery time, white blood cell count and C-reactive protein before treatment,on the 3rd day and on the 6th day of treatment, and efficacy were compared between the two groups. Results The body temperature recovery time in the treatment group was(46.56±16.51)h,which was shorter than(58.84±18.14)h in the control group(P<0.05).On the 6th day of treatment, the white blood cell count and C-reactive protein level in both groups were lower than those before treatment and on the 3rd day of treatment;the treatment group had white blood cell count of(9.32±1.37)×109/L and C-reactive protein of(15.23±9.20)mg/L,which were lower than(11.20±1.88)×109/L and(22.58±13.27)mg/L in the control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate of the treatment group was 72.7%,which was higher than 48.4%of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of self-made Tuire decoction and pricking blood therapy can promote the recovery of body temperature, white blood cell count and C-reactive protein level in patients with community-acquired pneumonia, promote the exudation and absorption of lung inflammation, and improve clinical efficacy.
